CrossFit Level 1 Certification
Growing up, I explored a variety of sports—swimming, running, and even martial arts. While they were fun, by the time I hit my teens, I had stopped exercising altogether. I vividly remember a time when I couldn’t even jog half a mile. I felt unfit, unmotivated, and unhappy, and I knew something needed to change.
After watching the CrossFit Games on TV in 2015, I decided to try out my very first CrossFit class, along with my husband Josh. After this class, everything hurt - but everything changed. There were no mirrors, no egos, just big smiles and high fives all round. I realized that it was a place where performance was celebrated, not aesthetics. I felt at home.
Since then, CrossFit has been the one constant in my life. It’s given me far more than just improved fitness—it’s brought me happiness, resilience, and lifelong friendships. CrossFit has shown me just how much my body is capable of.
The transformation has been eye-opening. From struggling to run half a mile to snatching my body weight, I’ve experienced firsthand how powerful the right community and mindset can be. I owe so much of my growth to the support and camaraderie of the CrossFit community.
Starting CrossFit Onen with my fiancé, Josh, has been a dream come true. My goal is to help people reframe their understanding of health and fitness—it’s not about perfection or restriction, but about balance, growth, and enjoying life.
I know what it’s like to start from scratch, to feel overwhelmed or unsure in the beginning. That’s why I’m so passionate about creating a supportive environment where everyone feels welcome, no matter their starting point.
At Onen, we’re building a community where encouragement and connection drive progress. I am deeply passionate about transforming lives through a holistic approach to health and wellness. True fitness goes beyond the gym - it is about finding movement that makes you feel strong and energised, nourishing your body with food that fuels and satisfies and embracing a lifestyle that promotes longevity. My goal is to help you feel your best inside and out.
